Sponsoring Spouse Visa with Irish Passport Questions
Hi,
I am a dual Australian and Irish citizen looking to sponsor my Australian partner to move to the UK with me early next year.
Has anyone had any experience in doing so? Is it an easy process?
We unfortunately missed the EU route.
On the visa application we also do not know where we will be living yet, is it okay to say we will find somewhere when we move over, or do we need to find accommodation prior to arrival?
Thanks in advance

Re: Sponsoring Spouse Visa with Irish Passport Questions
You will need to arrange accommodation before you submit your application. This can be staying with friends or family or even an Airbnb booking. You just need to demonstrate this for the application but you don’t have to live in the arranged accommodation once the visa is granted so making a three month Airbnb reservation is a good workaround providing you can cancel it without penalty once the application has been approved.
