Settlement visa progress email
hi
i know that it takes upto 60 days for my application to be reviewed so i thought i would send an email on the progress of our application and got this strangely worded email:
"Dear Nafeesa,
Thank you for contacting the UK Visas and Immigration International Enquiry
Service.
I have tracked the status (GWFXXXXXXXX and 12/12/1212) and found that
there are still no current updates. This could be because the details that
you have provided above are incorrect.
If the information provided is incorrect then please provide the 9-digit
GWF number and the date of birth (12/12/1212) of the applicant. If the
information is correct, then we will escalate your case to the relevant
department and ask for updates. Please provide us the following information.
Brief Reason of escalation: No current updates
GWF Reference Number:
Passport Number:
Full name of the applicant (as stated in the passport):
Date of Birth:
Nationality:
Country where applying:
Location of the VAC:
Type of visa:
Date of biometrics:
Contact number and email address used to register your account:

will process 90% of non-settlement applications within 3 weeks, 98% within
6 weeks and 100% within 12 weeks of the application (biometric taken) date;
and 95% of settlement applications within 12 weeks of the biometric taken
date and 100% within 24 weeks of the application (biometric taken) date.
Please note that we define 1 week as 5 working days.

appropriate country, click next and then select 'E-Mail form' and complete
as instructed. We will aim to come back to you within 1 day.
Kind regards,"
so does the bold & italics mean that the ECO is still reviewing the application ?
Thanks

Hi SanDiegogirl
Thanks for the reply
The information i supplied was correct (i tripled checked it again)
What is wrong with the Home Office delivering an email in clear english. I also scanned in the GWF number as well.
I really hope my application hasnt been lost !

Hi
We applied in 14th of Oct (Biometics) so its been 31 working days.
I had imagined we would have seen "Currently with ECO" or something rather than a bland "still no current updates."
The bold & italics were my design as i just wanted to clarify the line ..

We applied from Kuwait. The only communication was the first email saying that the application had been delievered to the Sheffield Office.
