Settlement (ILR) successful

I was very happy today to receive confirmation of settlement / ILR, about halfway through the advised processing period.
Application and supporting info submitted 07/01/25
Biometrics 17/01/25
Application confirmation email 18/01/25 (advising a decision was due by 08/07/25)
Approval email 16/04/25
I had no other communications over the time (just the two emails) and was not asked for additional info.
I included a brief cover letter + all the usual /mandatory collateral but tried to make it as logical as possible against the categories (which as we know don't easily align with the web portal for submissions).
Thank you to the mods and anyone who has advised me, or posted their own question related to this and earlier processes, over the years. I have referred back to so much helpful advice and it is really appreciated: even if you think your question is dumb, there's bound to someone thinking the same thing or a quick search will show someone in a similar situation. All the best to everyone else going through the process.

I should also say, my confirmation email advised:

"If you have a BRP from a previous grant of permission, keep your expired BRP as it may help with future applications to stay in the UK. You may also want it for your personal records."

Congratulations! :goodpost:

As the spouse of a British citizen you can apply immediately to naturalise as a British citizen.

This morning I received the great news that my citizenship application was successful. My biometric appointment was 23/01/26 so approximately 15 weeks for a decision. The fiddliest part was the photo ID proofs to print/sign/scan.

Now to book the ceremony!

Thank you for your advice over the past years, I can't believe how time has flown.
