Settlement

Hi everyone,
I will be applying for ILR later this year. My 10 years will be complete 13th November 2023 ( 1st BRP granted 13 November 2013) and current BRP expires in April 2024. Do we apply on the 16th October (28 day before 13th November) or just before April 2024 ?

Thanks in advance

Did you break your continuous residence at any time after April 2012, e.g. leave the UK for more than six months or apply for entry clearance from outside the UK?

In that case you appear to have been eligible since at least April 2022.

Re: Settlement

Base on above can the HO refused my application for reason I didn't apply in 2022.

Not at all. You just need to apply before your current BRP expires in April.

Re: Settlement

I filled out the application , paid money , booked time for biometrics in November , and realized that I made a mistake , Is it possible to somehow to correct it. or if I will submit new application should I paid again £2885 ?
Application did not ask me for other document ( work, bank, utility ext ) except my husband passport , my daughter passport since they are British citizens and marriage certificate that we were registered in the UK .
This is a very stressful process , please help, thanks in advance

Re: Settlement

Made application using my marriage name .
On my passport , Residence permit marriage certificate I have my maiden Name
On other documents , house , child birth certificate ,utility bills ,all bank statement , all work documents I have my husband ( marriage )name .I even have a Jury citation letter on my husband name .And in general everyone knows me here in UK by my husband ( mariage ) name .
Although in the application form I indicate my passport , number and full name as per my passport , but at the end of the application they asked me for a passport under my husband ( marriage ) name .
I uploaded all these listed and additional documents on the website .
What do you think? Will this be a problem and will my application be returned? Your opinion is very important to me !
Thanks in advance !
