Returning documents from UKVI Bogota
Hello,
On September 23rd we were informed that a decision has been made regarding my application.
But so far, it has not been posted.
We requested information and were told it takes 10 working days for them to post it back to you!
Has anyone experienced this kind of situation?
Utterly frustrating!!!
Many thanks,
Simone

[QUOTE=gaja00;12374141]Since September 23rd? That is pretty weird. When was the last time you contacted them? It’s been much longer than 10 working days now
I emailed them this Monday as my DHL tracking number has not changed status and this is what I got back:
Thank you for contacting UK Visas and Immigration.
With regards to your query, your application decision has been made and you should receive your documents back in 10 working days.
We do not have access to the outcome of your application and location of your documents and it's tracking details due to confidential reasons.
The lack of standard service is enfuriating to say the least!

Hi,
Have you finally received your documents?
I'm in a similar situation. Any update would be appreciated.

Not for as long as you have but
this is my timeline:
(Btw I applied from Ecuador)
Submitted application: 17 October
Documents received in Bogota: 18 October
Decision email: 31 October.
I've basically been waiting since then. No clue where my passport is. It could be still sitting in Bogota or the courier has it? This is frustrating.
Who did you send your emails to? What email address?

Google UKVI support.
You have to pay a fee of about £5 and you get an account to request information as many times as you need.
When I submitted my application form I bought a delivery service and was given a waybill to track the service.
However, parcel has not moved yet.

Ok thanks.
I do have a tracking number too but it says 'Not found' on the courier website which means it hasn't even been scanned by the courier I believe.
So when you track yours, it does give you some information?

Yes, it does!
I bought a DHL special delivery service and it shows all the information from the day I got it.

Re: Returning documents from UKVI Bogota
My Uruguayan wife got hers processed from UKVI Bogota.
The tracking was terrible!! It took ages as it went from Bogota to Brazil - Paraguay - Chile I think then up to USA!! It was in USA for about 4 days!! The eventually came down to Argentina and finally Uruguay!!
Looks like Fedex packages from Bogota need to go to the hub in USA and then travel back down.
The most stressful week we've had!
Good luck I'm sure it will arrive. probably being checked in USA hub
