Requesting advice on spouse visa situation
Hi all,
Me (Bangladeshi Citizen) and my partner (British Citizen) are currently living in Singapore for the past 6 months. We have been living together for more than 3 years now. From day 1 until now we have been abroad (out of UK and EU). My partner hasn't been in the UK throughout this time. However, now we are thinking of perhaps moving and settling in the UK.
I currently have an income that is above £18,600 per year. My partner is a homemaker and has no income. I have read the BritishExpats Spouse-Immigration WiKi and wanted to know if that is the most recent updated information. It seems to me that my only option is to save up £62,500 or get a job in the UK. I'd like to get advice from the community if there is any other option.

If s/he doesn't have a job and doesn't want to go back to the workplace, then it seems savings are your only option.
Good luck.

Could you tell me if this saving has to be in cash or it could be in assets?
