Relationship proof
Hello all,
My wife will be applying for her spouse visa soon and I had a question regarding what kind of proof is required. We have been married for over 13 years and outside of a marriage certificate what else do they require as there is nothing mentioned in the supporting document?

Re: Relationship proof
Joint utility bills, joint bank statements, insurance policies with one another as beneficiary, joint mortgages, children's birth certificates/photos, rental agreements etc.

Re: Relationship proof
Thanks! Is all this required or is it just recommended. I've heard from some people that all they really require outside of the basics is the proof to meet the financial requirements.

Re: Relationship proof
For a number of reasons my wife and I do not have anything in our joint names (note, this is not relationship related, neither of us has been married before, it is for other reasons). Our only "joint" document was therefore our marriage certificate, we also submitted 24 photos of ourselves and that was it. We however clearly explained the reasons behind this situation as part of our application.
And we obtained the spouse visa successfully!
