redlist

My girlfriend is from Philippines and she has a visa, but now the UK have put them on the redlist, can she travel on the same visa as long a it is before it expires?

She was booked to fly on 10th April, but we could not rebook

It is Valid from April 21 until Oct 21, if they come off the redlist, would she be able to travel on the same visa still?

Re: redlist

That type of visa doesn’t grant residence rights in the UK so she is unlikely to be able to travel to the UK from the Philippines. She can either wait until the Philippines is removed or travel to a third country which isn’t on the red list for ten days before travelling onto the UK.

Re: redlist

A new green / amber / red list of countries and testing rules is due to be released today. It's unlikely the Philippines' status will change as it's only recently been red listed, but worth checking. The green list countries will be updated, if transiting in one of these for 10 days is an option.
