Eh, it was probably evident, I'm just not au fait with the dynamics of the
forum right now because I haven't been keeping track of it for the last 2-3
months - I've been playing the part of anti-stress comfort for my wife
while she finished her MA

Well it was a rant Only to be expected really.

That's a good point, actually - 3-6 months depending on how they decide
to administer it.

I do get the impression, though, that they tick off "bring medical and
I693 supp." without actually checking the date of the previous one or the
results. That would've shown that I've had all of the ones required and
saved this hassle now, and it only takes a minute to check. Oh well.

Would I be right in thinking that the form I received is not a standard
form, then? There was a single tick box marked for this which said:

} Complete the enclosed I-693 medical examination of applicant: including
} supplement/vaccinations from an approved INS physician.

I didn't actually receive a copy of the supplement done for the K1
physical, though looking through the documentation for it that I think I
should have done? Oh well.

Home schooling? I've only seen the vaccination requirements for
universities/colleges here and they seemed pretty comparable, although
they varied from place to place. I can't recall now whether these
requirements are made in UK institutions - I think it's generally
presumed that any requisite injections have been given.

Air conditioning is definitely one thing I'm grateful for this summer :>

Don’t assume that they have reviewed your file every time they send you any type of letter. I often get template letters with a box checked saying my client is to bring a medical exam to the interview (and it will often go on to say to come to the interview even if the medical exam is not completed) when there is no need for them to get a new medical exam due to the fact one was recently performed in obtaining the fiancée visa. I disagree with your assumption however, that it would only take “a minute to find and then have an officer review someone’s file before some low level employee sends out a template letter. And besides that, your medical and vaccination supplement might not have been merged into your file by the time the letter is sent.

The language shows two different things, a medical exam and a vaccination supplement. If they were both part of the same thing, they wouldn’t mention both. They are two separate and distinct things even if they used a poor choice of words to describe that on the template letter you received. These template letters often vary quite a bit from office to office (not usually "standard" from office to office).
