Quick Question on Financial section in Appendix 2
I have been working in South Korea for the last year and half on a temporary international assignment with my UK employer, this is now coming to an end and ill be returning back to the UK, so i am now in the process of preparing everything for my wifes spouse application to join me back in the UK.
I have a question about Appendix 2 financial information, So 3.11 asks your sponsors annual income from this employment before tax.
So my situation is that I have a base salary which easily meets the minimal requirement but I have been earning significantly more than my base salary with all the added assignment uplifts and overtime etc over the last year and half so all my payslips will show this increased amount.. so do i have to explain this anywhere and calculate my actual annual income or do i just list my base salary? (my base salary will be the one listed and confirmed on my employment letter from my company)
Do they not care about anything over and above your base salary as long as you meet the minimum requirement?

Anyone able to offer any thoughts on this? or am i over thinking things a bit?

Do your payslips list your base salary and add-ons separately?

Just checked them over and yea they do, my base salary is listed in base hourly rate x number of hours for regular hours and overtime then all the uplifts and allowances are listed as separate line items.

In that case keep it simple and just use your base salary.
