Quick marriage, and apply for spouse visa?
Hello.
My US citizen partner and myself had originally intended on applying for the fiance visa, however it seems that it is much easier to just marry in the US and apply for the spouse visa.
Has anyone from experience done a 'quickie' marriage, and applied for the spouse visa instantly?
I'm worried that it'll look suspicious if I go over and marry my partner in February 2019, and then apply for the spouse visa within a few days after?
BONUS Question: I've noticed a lot of people in their timelines mentioning that they paid for a 'priority visa'. Is this the premium same day service, or something different? I've never seen the option for a priority unless it refers to USA visas.
Thanks.

No, that’s perfectly normal if you’ve been in a long distance relationship or living apart of late. You’ll still to demonstrate that your relationship is genuine.
There’s no same day service for settlement visas applied for overseas. You can opt to pay for priority processing which in theory will speed up the decision making time.

I've never seen the priority advertised on the Gov website before (except for the in the UK option)
