Proof for residency for British national
In order to register my children as British, I need to evidence residence in the UK for a 3 year period.
I am being advised to just submit bank statements for the 3 year period that will clearly show transactions throughout the 3 years. Please advise if this would be fine?
As my British passport doesn't get stamped while going abroad, I also need to evidence that my absences do not exceed 270 days. Your guidance will be much appreciated

What about the payslips suggested? Or your tax records if you’re self employed. Utility bills, school records, insurances etc. Just bank statements alone wouldn’t be enough usually.

I can provide payslips for full 2 years. And also car insurance I have had for a year only and also health insurance. With the bank statements, will that suffice?
