Proof of Cohabitation - 2 or 2.5 years? (spouse visa extension)

We are preparing the documents for my husband's spouse visa extension and I'm in charge of gathering the proof of cohabitation requirements. It's unclear to me whether I should be gathering proof of cohabitation requirements for the past 2 years, the past 2.5 years, or the past 32 months (the BRP he received was valid for 33 months). Different websites seem to see different things as well, so it's a bit confusing. But there's a big difference between

2 years: one document every 4 months
2.5 years: one document every 5 months
31 months: one document every 5-6 months

Any clarity on this will be much appreciated! Thank you!
