Arrow Please Help with this

Hi guys,

Hope everyone is good!

A* wants to apply spouse visa for B* on June 25th.

A* started work in October 2017 but A* only had the necessary amount of savings in her bank on 22nd December 2017 and by June 22 2018 that amount will meet the 6 months deposit target. A* receives her salary every other week (second Friday and fourth Friday of every month), the expected salary by 22 June 2018 will be will be just above the required (18,600 /2) which shouldn’t be a problem.

But what is confusing is that the next salary after 22nd December 2017 was received on 5th January 2018, so now how do we count the 6 months employment? Should it be 6 months prior to the application? Do we just go back 24 weeks from 22nd June 2018?

Can someone tell me the help me with this, I don’t want to mess up the case!

Thanks

It does depend on what financial category you apply under, your salary etc does not come into the equation if applying under savings, likewise the savings do not if applying via the earnings route unless you are using savings to top up the salary shortfall.

Category A, we will be using salary + saving to cover up the shortfall. we've got the saving including the shortfall covered in 2017 22 December and on June 22 2018 it will also be kept in the account unmoved for 6 months.

The 6 months will be calendar months for the visa requirements..

Applying via the earnings route and using savings to top up the salary shortfall, on 22nd December deposited X amount which was required to cover the shortfall in salary.

Salaries received on the following dates:

26th Jan 2018
23rd Feb 2018
30th march 2018
27th April 2018
25th May 2018
22nd June 2018 ( next salary )

Applying right after 22nd June shall not be a problem right?

If they are using calendar months then, personally, I would wait and apply at the end of June, just 8 days later, but you don't want to be rejected just because of those days
