Payslip issue
Hi my friend started a new job in February and his wife's spouse visa runs out in July. However he will only get the 5th payslip. However his employer said that he is willing to give the 6 month payslip and payment earlier. Whats the best route to take?

Re: Payslip issue
So, in practice the sponsor has only been in work for 5 full months when the visa expires; and the employer has proposed providing a 6th payslip, again dated end of June to reach the 6 payslips necessary?
If attempting to apply under Cat A, extremely risky as ECO could easily confirm only 5 months of employment Presuming the sponsor's income in this current job is equivalent to 18,600 GBP per annum, I would suggest the applicant applies under Cat B, whereby 12 payslips can show the sponsor has earned 18,600 GBP over the past year. Just the odd cash in hand job here and thier. But then again if he gets the payslip for July technically it wouldn't be a full month. Its a bit of a sticky one to be honest. This coronavirus has caused a lot of issue regarding spouse visas. |

So the payslip for July would be paid at the beginning of the month instead of the end of the month. Could he not fill out the application before the 7th of July and then submit the biometrics at the end of July?

I really don't see how a payslip dated beginning of July for work potentially to be carried out in July is going to be acceptable. Does this current job earn the equivalent of 18,600 GBP per annum? |

The application has to be submitted prior to 7 July if that is the date the visa expires. Biometrics will be done whenever they can be scheduled.

Re: Payslip issue
Over the past year there have been several changes to application financial requirements due to Covid - allowances have been made for those who have lost jobs or had reduced income.
You should read the following website https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavi...y-uk-residents near to the end there is a section: If you’re applying to enter the UK or remain on the basis of family or private lifewhich deals with applying when one has lost income due to Covid. There is an e-mail contact there. Your friend will have to apply with what documentation he has. He needs to write a full explanatory letter detailing his experiences of losing his job etc due to Covid. He might be given leeway on his income and/or put on a 10 year spouse visa. |
