Passed Life In The UK Test...
Hi,
My wife arrived in 2015 and she's been studiously been preparing for LITUK test on and off since then. Today, she took the test and passed it!
We were sure there's no expiration limit for taking it for her permanent stay that's not due for another three years at least (her 2.5 is due next year). Plus, as it was so daunting it was best - we felt - to get it out of the way.
When she was applying for the test, she noted in her application that she was doing it for indefinite stay, not for a British passport, that's correct isn't it or does it not matter? Her letter says it's for her indefinite stay and/or naturalisation for a British citizen.
Also do the Home Office get in touch at all as apparently they are informed as as I mentioned, my wife's permanent stay request isn't due for a while?
Thanks.
