Overtime for a UK Fiance Visa
I am applying for a U.K fiancé visa to be with my boyfriend, we're having a baby girl and getting her British passport once she's born. The only problem is that my boyfriend falls short about £4,700 pounds regarding the financial requirement £18,600. He read his payslip which stated he makes £13,933 (gross pay) a year but he's going to ask at work to make sure. If he is making that amount how much overtime can he do to make at least £4,700 within 6 months? He makes £7.25 an hour I believe and works the regular 8 hour shift 5 days a week. I'm unsure how many hours he needs to make up within a 6 month period. I'm hoping maybe in March they determine the appeal for the financial requirement and give families a little more hope, he wants to be with his little girl once she's born in April. Can someone please help with this. Thank you very much

Re: Overtime for a UK Fiance Visa
He can undertake as much overtime as his company wants and he can physically do.
The shortfall is approximately one third of his current salary, so by my "finger in the air" reckoning he needs to do at least another one third of his current hours.
However, he is the one to know how much overtime he can do.
