Original or COPIES at scanning centre?

Original or COPIES at scanning centre?
Can someone please confirm whether copies or originals are accepted at the uk scanning centres. Im so confused as i keep hearing different things

You take originals to be scanned; they’ll be returned to you there and then.

How about, if the originals are larger than A4 i.e. marriage cert, do you still take the originals. Thx

Take the Originals but if any original document is smaller or bigger than A4 size then make a clear copy of that on A4 Paper and include this copy instead of that irregular original document. As their scanning system scan only A4 sized documents... and at the end they will return to you all of your documents
