Online application - is VAF4A also needed?

Online application - is VAF4A also needed?
Can someone confirm that if applying for a settlement/ILR Visa from outside the UK, using the online application system, that we do not need to complete the hard copy VAF4A form as well?

You need to print off a hard copy of the online application form to submit with Appendix 2 and the rest of your supporting documents. You don't need to also complete Form VAF4A as well since the online form essentially is Form VAF4A.
