Notice of non-renewal?
Hi guys,
Quick one - my wife (then fiancè), came to the UK 3 years ago on a fiancè visa, which we then converted to a FLR(M) after we married. This expires on November 19th.
We know that we have the option to extend this for another 2.5 years, but I've just been approved for an immigrant visa to her home country (USA), so we're going to be moving before her UK status expires.
So, now that we've chosen not to renew the visa, is there anything we have to do? e.g. Inform the border agency that we are not renewing and that she is returning to the USA?
We may return to the UK later in life (who knows!) so we just wanted to make sure we tick all of the boxes, but there really isn't all that much information online about this scenario.
Thanks!

Re: Notice of non-renewal?
You just let it lapse.
You will have to re-apply if and when you decide to return to UK.
