Hey all!
My wife is coming up to the end of her second 2.5 year spouse visa and we are trying to figure out the best (and most affordable!) Options going forward. The simple question I have, does the next step have to be applying for ILR (at a fee of 2.3k) or can she go straight to citizenship which I think only costs like £900? Or are there any other temporary visa she can go onto for a year or so? I only ask because we are partway through a house move so 2.3k is landing at an awkward time. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards
Phil

ILR is next step - unless you want to go for another FLR(M) which is not much cheaper and more complicated.
No, no other temporary visa.
Naturalisation comes after ILR

so after the 5 years of spouse visas. Exactly how long do you have to wait to be naturalised? And become a British citizen.
