Is this my only option?
Hello everyone! I'm a British Citizen (born in England), and for the past 5 years I've been in the US on a Green Card, my wife and I have been married for almost all 5 of those years and she is a US Citizen from birth. We are looking to moving to the UK to be closer to my family, and obviously like a lot of people here I'm finding it hard to meet the requirements. I'm currently employed full time here in the US earning roughly 32,000 a year, I do not have anywhere near the savings requirement as my savings roughly equal 16000GBP. The only route I can see would be if I A) somehow found employment in the UK whilst I am still over here and then apply for the visa once I have the job offer, or B) move over by myself and find work paying the required limit and then in 6 months time apply for my wife to join me, am I right in thinking these are my only two options at this point?

Unless you wife has European or British Ancestry, then, yes, those look like YOUR options.
Your wife, if meeting Tier 2 criteria, could try finding her own job and visa - though somewhat difficult
