Moving back to the UK from Canada

Hi, Everybody hope you're all well. Me and the wife are moving back to the UK next July I'm a UK citizen and the wife is Canadian, I've been trying to find out an answer to my question on these forums but with no luck so I apologize for the dumb question in advance. Do we just fly to the UK and then apply for a visa to remain or do we have to apply for a vise for the wife beforehand ?
Thanks
Dave

As said you (wife) apply from Canada:

https://www.gov.uk/uk-family-visa

There are financial requirements and only certain categories under which to apply: (see below)

Thanks, Is there a time limit to enter the UK after the spousal visit has been granted?

It's usually been 30 days to enter the UK and pick up your BRP - think that might have been extended? Can someone else confirm this?

Usually 90 days from the stated intended date of entry or date of grant whichever is later.
