Does anybody knows how long it takes for UKVI to send documents back since decision has been made by HO?
Decision on my application has been made on 1st of October and still no passport back. Is it something normal for them now?

Taking time and dragging their feet is Home Office all over. There is no timeline on when you can expect the documents back.

Oh really?! Jesus!

That is also pretty weird as when I was applying earlier for visitor visas they were able to receive application, make a decision, print visa and send passport back within 5 working days and now the simplest thing in the process left and it already took almost a month

Today is 80 business day from the Biometrics still didn't hear anything from HO. Not even straightforward email or 31st mail. Is there anyone here from July Biometrics without any kind of reply from HO? My Biometrics on 7th July and non priority. Hopefully we all here our decisions before 31st October. Hope for the best..!!

Wow my situation exactly. Applied and biometrics from Canada on July 7th. Around day 55 got the not straightforward and have had nothing since!

Okk. I didn't receive anything from HO. I applied from Sri Lanka. Hopefully we will hear something before 31st October. Didn't you call or email to HO to check the status of the application?

Yes we have emailed to escalate as well as asked our mp to contact ho. My mp has had no response. The ho sent us a generic response saying they will try to get back to us in 20 business days. Hope we hear in the. Next few days!!

SO apparently the 31 oct email was just sent to most of us for the sake of it... I don’t understand what they are upto..what action can we take?

Seriously... can’t believe it coming from UK government.. they are failing at their commitment time and again.. when applied waited for 90 working days then got non straightforward email.. then contacted them and they said the maximun time is 180 working days.. after that no response .. then 31 oct email.. nothing yet the month is already over..
how to trust them? Atleast keep up to your words..especially for those who have crossed 180 days mark..we have nowhere to go and raise are concerns. Mp’s can’t really help us much either coz HO doesn’t wana respond.. never ever thought would face this kina helpless situation.

Loosing hope..the wait and frustration is just getting all over.. they are literally playing with people’s life which god knows if intentional or unintentional...if they need any further details why do they not contact us? Jist keeping us hanging on there.. 7months and I dont have my passport.. I wished there was some law to sack these people..
