Default Marriage certificate for spouse visa

Hello all,

Was wondering if anyone could help me: am going to apply for a spouse visa, but the marriage certificate is from a different country- can we get it translated and apostilled abroad, or do we have to do it in the UK?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Which is easier for you? You don't have to do it in the UK.
Would think most people get it translated etc where they got married ....

We had our marriage documents translated in China for the initial spouse visa application, and in the UK for FLR (it isn't needed for ILR).
