Lost Passport & Green Card - traveling to UK in < 2 weeks
Hi, I currently live in the US (on a Green Card) and plan to move back to the UK (from San Francisco) and have flights (from San Fran to London) booked for departure in less then 2 weeks time. However, I have just discovered that I have lost my passport and green card! I don't have time to apply for a new passport overseas (6 weeks), how do I get an emergency travel document ASAP, and does the fact I've lost my green card matter (I don't intend to return to the US)?

If you don’t intend to return to the US than your lost Green Card isn’t an immediate problem whereas your lost British passport is.
