Hello,

My wife got her FLR(M) this week and we are both very happy. Thanks for all the help we received on here. We are now looking ahead to the indefinite leave to remain stage and the Life in the UK test which is required. Does anyone know the best book to buy to prepare for this test?

All three are designed for different purposes but you only buy one then the handbook will contain everything that you need to know.

My wife got the official handbook, but she also signed up here for practice tests, I think it is free for the first 30 days. There are 45 practice tests on the site and she did them again and again (about 450 times all together over a one month period), this was starting from scratch and taking the test, which she passed, just over a month later. She found the test much more useful than reading the official book in fact. I was in charge of her study schedule and I can really recommend this approach. Here is the link:

No need to buy any book, plenty of free sites online with all the info and practice tests. I read it all over a weekend before I did my test.
