Leaving Job after submitting appendix fm
Hello everyone,
I am currently working and earning over 18,600 gross income per annum. Hopefully by July 17th I will have worked a total of 6 months in this job.
What I would like to know is if I submit my spouse visa on the 17th with 6 payslips showing I have a gross income of over 18,600 (apply via category a) then I leave this job once my application has been submitted, will this affect the final decision in any way?
I know the current delay is upwards of 24 weeks for spouse visas and I cannot feasably continue working in my current job.
I would love it if someone who's experienced something similar can give me any guidance.
Thank you very much.

Re: Leaving Job after submitting appendix fm
If the HO decide to check up on your place of employment and finds you have left, yes, then, that could put a hold on the application.
I know most people say that your application is based on your situation at time of application, and that not all applications get an employment check.
However, personally, I would not chance it.

Whilst I take SDG’s point, any employment check by the Home Office should only concern itself with your circumstances at the time of application. If you change jobs after you apply, particularly to a job which also meets the salary requirements, then I would not be overly concerned.
