Job change - FLR
My husband (sponsor) could possibly be in a position to change jobs in the coming months (we have FLR due in September).
Can this be done? If the job offer wasn't permanent would it have to cover the remaining 30 months of our leave to stay or not? He's been earning above the threshold and would continue to do so.
Thanks again.

Yes he can do so..... if you want to apply using the NEW job then you must have at least one payslip together with employment letter, contract etc.
You will have to apply under Cat B
No it does not have to cover any particular future period - just that it is in place when he applies and,of course, that it pays over 18,600 GBP
You can't apply if he is in-between jobs.

Thanks. If he applied while still in his current job, but having given notice this would not doubt then be reflected in the letter from HR (as he would have to have given 3 months notice) would this still be sufficient? .

(b) A letter from the employer(s) who issued the payslips at paragraph 2(a) confirming:
Personally I don't see how that would be sufficient. You have no proof then of ongoing employment - except an offer of future employment which would not be accepted.
There are various thoughts about this situation. Some say as long as you are in the job when you apply it's OK. However, I think if you apply during your period of notice that is creating a problem. The ECO might or might not come back and ask about future employment.
When is he likely to get the offer and have to hand in his notice? Better still wait until after September to accept new job
- (i) the person’s employment and gross annual salary;
- (ii) the length of their employment;
- (iii) the period over which they have been or were paid the level of salary relied upon in the application; and
- (iv) the type of employment (permanent, fixed-term contract or agency).

He would get the offer, accept that and then give his notice (3 months). We would be applying while he was still in current role, having given notice. I guess what he is trying to work out, is how this differs to the situation we were with our initial application - then we had accepted the role here, given our notice to his employer at that time but was still using pay slips from the previous 6 months and were accepted based on the offer he had with a very large company here in the UK. Appreciate your help.
