Immigrating to the UK

My cousin and her husband are living in the USA. They are due to get their
citizenship in a couple of years time.

They wanted to move to the UK some time in the future and live there. Is that
possbile? If so, what will they need to do in order to do this.

well, it is possible. but bear in mind things have become slightly difficult since we have started getting the new wave of immigration from europe, afghanistan, turkey, iraq and who knows where else....!
but my advice to your cousin and husband is this: stay put in the usa, there is nothing left here in the uk for them, unless they want to finance so-called refugees who come here pretending to be persecuted, get all the handouts from the uk govt which are paid for by us tax-payers, whilst the citizens of the uk can't even get a council house or apartment, even though they may have been living here 30 yrs or more....! thats the uk these days......sorry, but thats the truth. and i'm not one of those right-wing people either!!

If they are US citizens they can live outside of the US for as long as they want.
All they would need is a US passport in case they want to re-enter the US at a
later date.
