Am very unsure of when I can apply for this. I will have been in the UK for 5 years end of March. However my current visa is valid until end of June. They say you can apply for ILR Set M visa up to 28 days before your visa expires. Do I have to wait till June or can I apply now, as my 5 years are completed in 4 weeks time?

You can apply now. If you’re relying on salaried income to meet the financial requirements then I would use February’s payslip and bank statement as your final financial documents.
