Hi, I am a bit confused as to when we can apply for my wife's ILR. I had the understanding you cannot apply more than 28 days before her Ancestry visa expires, i.e 13 7.2022. Therefore we were going to lodge the application on June 15th. Is this correct? I'd appreciate some clarification urgently please.

You can apply up to 28 days before the fifth anniversary of her visa issue date.

Her Visa is valid until 13 July 2022 but the Issue date is 29 June 2022. My understanding was that we applied up to 28 days before 13th July 2022. Is this incorrect?

If you mean the issue date is 29 June 2017 then she can apply anytime from now.

Ok, thanks. Is it possible to lodge the application right up to the 29th or ar least the 28th June?
Because of my misunderstanding we have lost a couple weeks, we're still waiting for a couple of documents that won't be available until the middle of the month.

You can apply at any point between now and 13 July 2022 so no problem applying mid-June.
