If you aren't happy with your spouse
If a guy is here on a 2 years 9 months spouse visa
and when he applied to extend his stay
does he need his wife's permission?
as in does she need to sign anything for him to apply?

If the relationship has broken down then the husband needs to inform the Home Office and, unless he is eligible for another visa, he would need to leave the UK.
