My mom has stage 4 cancer and she was recently diagnosed with a very severe pneumonia and she is in the intensive care unit. My dad called me yesterday saying that i should fly there right now. Both my parents are UK citizens. I currently reside here in Canada with a permanent resident status and i hold a philippine passport. I have a family visit visa but it expired last 2013. Is there any way i can get a visa right away so i could see my mom? Any information will be of great help. Thank you

If both parents are UK citizens, then the OP is as well, so can't get a visa, so would beed to get a UK passport.

Not necessarily. Parents may have obtained UK cit as adults after working there etc for the required time and after their children became adults.

The OP needs to clarifies this but if he or she is not a British citizen then they'll need a visa as a Philippine citizen to visit the UK. HKG3 has provided the relevant link for the priority service.
