My grandmother is a born british citizen, she was born in 1921, my father (her son) was born abroad in 1957. At that time he wasn't eligible for citizenship since 2009 he is he can register as British citizen throught UKM form but the UKM guide said that we will acqquire citizenship by descent BUT my grand mother was in crown service at that time and if she could pass her citizenship as men do my father would be citizen otherwise by descent.

So anyone knows if my father would be citizen by descent or otherwise by descent in order to pass me citizenship?

I realy need help and would be very gratefull for your help.
