Hi all -
I recently read about “UKVI share code” which is needed to prove right to work to employers and reduces the need for additional identity checks in the UK.
I checked through the correspondence in my husband’s UK spouse visa file (his visa is approved now) and can’t see it, only UKVI own references .
Did anyone get this “share code” as part of their spouse visa application . If no - then how to go about getting it ?
Many thanks in advance ,

Hello Both,
I have the same problem. My wife recently received an EUSS Family Permit. When I use the above link to try to generate a share code, it says the details (passport no. and DoB) don't match their records. Is this normal? The details are most certainly correct - I've put them in several times.
Thanks!

Oh dear. Does this mean she is not yet allowed to rent in the UK, or just that she can't generate a share code? I ask because I plan to submit an application to rent a house tomorrow. We don't mind if she is named on the contract or named as someone living in the house, but she will have to appear on the contract somehow.
(Sorry katerina1, I didn't mean to hijack your thread!)

Please share how you got round this problem as I feel I will be in the same boat in November …

Hi,
I‘m Mrs. Gyromagician.
@Katharina: I ended up as named resident, but I’m not on the contract. I still don’t have any proof of address. Bills are all in Mr. G’s name, so I can’t be added to his bank account, and so on and on.
