Surinder,
The K3 application for my wife took about 11 months to be processed and
she got here last August. So if you get married in India, you can get
the marriage certificate made at the courthouse of the city of your
marriage in a few days and make sure to bring all the documents with
you to US to file the I-129F. I did not have enough time to bring all
my documents from India and it took be about 6 weeks to collect all the
documents, otherwise my wife would have been here faster.
