Have you applied for leave to remain in the past ten years?/
Is leave to remain your first spouse visa and further leave to remain your extension?
Or does it mean only the extension?
Reason for asking is that my wife currently holds a UK visa but due to a family emergency has been out of the UK about 9 months so will reapply for a new visa.
So just trying to clarify how we should answer this question
Thank you

"Have you applied for leave to remain in the past 10 years"
If your wife is on the initial 2.5 year spouse visa then the answer is NO
If your wife is on the second 2.5 year spouse visa (ie she has already applied once for FLR(M)) then the answer is Yes
