Gifted money letter
My husband (sponsor) and I were gifted a sum of money to go towards the financial requirements - savings route. What should be included in the letter from the gifter/us when explaining the origin of the funds?

The letter should confirm that the money transfer is a gift not a loan, and should explain where the money has come from: savings/investments etc
Bank statements from the gifters showing that the monies transferred from them to you. i.e a paper trail of the money

Does not matter - if the handwriting is legible that will suffice.
