Default FLR and rental contract

Hi,

We will start the process for FLR next year and in advance want to be well prepared.

My question today is about the rental contract we have through the residential property agent. Initially it was a 6 month secured tenancy and now it is a rolling 1 month contract. This has been in place now for over a year.

When the time comes to apply for FLR, would it be recommended to seek another 6 month or 1 year secure contract in the place we stay or will it be perfectly acceptable continuing as we are on a rolling 1 month contract? Of course I will be obtaining the relevant evidence of either from the property agent.

Default Re: FLR and rental contract

A rolling shorthold assured tenancy agreement is fine.
