Default FLR(M) English Language requirement

Hi everyone

I arrived in the UK in June 2014. My spousal visa is due for renewal in February 2017.

I passed the KET test at A2 in China in summer 2013. I registered for the exam in January 2013 with my ID card before online checking using passport was introduced in April 2013. I have a certificate. My certificate says Pass in the Key English Test Council of Europe Level A2.

Can I re-use this certificate for my FLR(M) application?

Thank you

My understanding is that you will need to take a new test as that test is no longer valid, either because the type of test is no longer accept and/or the test result has a validity of two years. However it may be worth contacting the Home Office for clarification.

Hi BritInParis

Thanks for your reply

I found this. The Home Office requires A2 from October 2016. I am still trying to find out if I can use my A2 pass certificate from 2013.

Anyone else in this situation?
