FLR granted, when should we apply again?
Hey up,
I'm a British citizen living in the UK with a foreign spouse. Following our marriage we've been granted FLR for the next 30 months. This will take us up to 2.5 years of the 5 year visa route so I gather we should apply for FLM again then after that ILR.
My question is this: When should we apply for FLR again? The home office state they can take up to 12 weeks to make a decision so does that mean we should apply 12 weeks before our current FLR visa is finished?
Cheers

Congratulations! I believe you can only apply for your next visa 28 days before the current one expires. Even if it takes longer to process, you are covered while it is being considered. Of course you can go for same day appointment which eliminates the wait, unless there is some complication.
