Fiance Visa done, next one?

Fiance Visa done, next one?
hi all,
me and my husband have just got married a couple of months ago on a fiance visa ( myself coming from aus ), we are now looking at the next family visa.... the fiance visa i’m on expires in July at which point if we don’t have the next visa i’ll be heading back to aus.
my question is, if after I apply for the next visa? Am I allowed to stay in the country pending a reply or will the expiration of the fiance visa still dictate wether or not I can stay?

Was it a fiancée visa or marriage visitor visa?

It was a 6-month fiance visa

So long as you lodge an application for a spouse visa before it expires then you can remain in the UK until such time a decision is made on your application. You cannot leave the UK whilst a decision is pending else the application will be considered withdrawn. You also cannot work until your spouse visa is granted.

You can apply immediately for the spouse visa,
