Fiance Visa / Biometrics Question.
 

Hello,

This is probably the wrong forum to post this on, however I am looking to bring my fiance over to England.

I have an issue where my partner who's an American citizen is being deployed. The plan originally was to apply for the visa in line for when he comes back, he can do his last month in the Air Force, and then come straight over to England etc. I've stumbled across a problem, where he's required to do a biometrics appointment, however this wouldn't be possible as he'll be in another country.
He used to live in England for 2 years in the Air Force, and had biometrics done then, however I'm not sure whether he would need a fresh one.

Has anyone been in this situation before?

Where is he being deployed to? If he has a month left to serve in the US before he can be discharged then why not apply then?
