Fiancé visa sponsor’s original documents
Hi,
Just a question about original documents. My fiancé abroad will be submitting all his original documents including his actual passport, but as the sponsor living in the UK, how many of my documents have to be original ?
I am prepared to send over my original birth certificate , NI number, original pay slips and bank statements , but it’s not practical for me to send my passport. Would a colour photocopy of the photo page suffice ?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

You don’t need to send your birth certificate or NI number. A colour photocopy of your passport will suffice. Depending on where your fiancé is submitting his application then you may be able to simply apply online using scanned documents.
