Default Are FCCA accepted as a recognised supervisory body for the certificate of confiration

Hi,

I know there are many threads discussing the certificate of confirmation from a uk recognised supervisory body but I have a question.

The accountant I used is a member of CIMA which I know now is not a recognised supervisory body and wont be accepted by the home office. However my accountants collegue is FCCA. I know that ACCA are recognised. Are they the same thing? Would UKBA accept a certificate from FCCA?

I'm hoping I don't have to find another accountant and have my accounts redone.

Any information on this would be extremely helpful.

Ollie
