Family visa delay caused from IHS payment bug

Hi all,

We are at the situation waiting for 2 dependent visas while the spouse visa was released weeks ago. The delay of the dependent visas due to IHS payment system bug and caused us unnecessary delay.

Wonder what can we do other than wait and wait as soon my husband's visa will be expired soon.

We called the paid service and received ridiculous reply and asked us to wait 60 working days. The reply did not make sense and replied just like a robot, we were expecting to escalate our case but in vain. We hang up with unhappiness.

Below timeline FYR:

Application for 1 spouse visa, 2 dependent children visas
Application from Hong Kong
Priority
Online application: 28 June
Bio-metrics and documents scanned at VFS: 5 July
Confirmation of receipt in Sheffield: 6 July
Additional not straightforward email: 30 July ~ 2 dependent children only

IHS payment email for dependent children: paid and acknowledged on 31 July (No reply since then)

Decision made:
My husband case shown DECIDED on 31 Jul (https://contact-ukvi.homeoffice.gov.uk/app/visa_application/displayvisastatus/refnum)
2 dependent children: awaiting

Email to collect documents from VFS:
Husband case: 2 Aug
2 dependent children: Awaiting
Passport collected with approved visa: Husband received on 3 Aug/ Dependent children: Awaiting

Yes, our cases were resolved. Our advisor sent an email to UKVI - International Correspondence Team. Email replied in one week and replied with apology of their delay. The decision were made on that day and online tracker decided after few days.

Two sons' passports were received by post separately in 5 and 8 days finally.

Congratulations and good luck for your move! We are still waiting for further news on our spouse visa, also applied for Hong Kong (working day 26 today, priority). Just out of curiosity - did you apply for the visa yourself or did you go through an agent?

We submitted all forms by ourselves at VFS, we paid an advisor to check all docs in advance to ensure all forms were completed correctly including drafting covering letter, the advisor told us key points need to be in the letter and we all drafted by ourselves.

Thank you for the additional colour on your application. Also, did you manage to use the online tracking website to track the status of the visas? I seem to constantly receive "Reference number not recognised" with anything I use (GWF number, IHS number and email correspondence ref). Are you able to let me know which type of reference number worked for you?
