Extension of FLR(M) visa - document checklist / second check please
Hi all
Here is my list of documents - would really appreciate a second check as my visa expires on 20 Oct which means I only get one chance to get this right!
1. Application Form
2. Spouse declaration
3. Consent to provide information declaration - Applicant and Spouse signed
4. Applicant's BRP
5. Applicant's Passport
Education/English
Applicant's degree from the University of Nottingham
Spouse Immigration Status
Spouse's passport
Correspondence
1. 2020 Council Tax Bill - joint names
2. 2019 Council Tax Bill - joint names
3. 2018 Council Tax Bill - joint names
4. Utility Bill May 2020 - joint names
5. Utility Bill September 2020 - joint names
6. Annual Mortgage Statement Sept 2019 - joint names
7. Mortgage Confirmation Sept 2018 - joint names
8. Water bill April 2019 - Spouse name
Finance - relying on Employment
1. March - Aug 2020 Spouse's Payslips
2. March - Aug 2020 Spouse's Bank Statements
3. Letter from Spouse's employer confirming his employment, start date, salary, length of time his salary was paid
4. Spouse P60
5. Spouse employment contract
Evidence of monthly housing cost
1. Annual mortgage statement covering Sept 2018 to Sept 2019
QN: Should I provide bank statements covering from 2019 to 2020 since I haven't received the annual statement for this year?
Evidence of council tax costs
1. 2020 council tax bill
2. 2019 council tax bill
3. 2018 council tax bill
Evidence of daughter's other parent lives (ie my spouse)
Going to rely on Sept 2020 utility bill in our joint names
QN: Is it enough to just provide the latest? Or should I be providing more?
Evidence of son's other parent lives (ie my spouse)
Same as above.
Others
1. Marriage certificate (UK)
2. Daughter's birth certificate
3. Son's birth certificate
4. Photos of us as a family - this is to support our answers to the question of "Are there any other reasons for wanting to stay in the UK"

I'm also preparing my spouse's documents. I saw some forums say that the correspondence should be spaced out generally evenly. (Not quite sure how evenly they mean.) It also isn't very clear to me whether the correspondence meant to prove cohabitation should go as far back as the start of the BRP (i.e., 30/33 months) or just over the past 2 years.

No 'of course' about it.
If you apply under Cat A you present 6 months of financial documentation; if under Cat B you present 12 months

No 'of course' about it.
If you apply under Cat A you present 6 months of financial documentation; if under Cat B you present 12 months
