Enquiry re right of abode

Hi, I'm a British Citizen residing in Zimbabwe and I wanted to enquire if my son is able to apply for right of abode as opposed to a Tier 4 Study Visa as he wants to study in the U.K. He will be 18 this year. ( his grandfather was born in Great Britain) Thank you

Where were you and your son born? Did you spent any time living in the time before his birth? In which month does he turn 18?
