End of Marriage during Spouse visa
Hi all,
I have tried looking for open threads, but couldn’t find any, apologies if repeating subject.
I am/ about to renew my spouse visa to FLM, however marriage is not going so well. Mostly likely it will end. Even with 2.5 year visa granted, do I have to leave the country?
If I change partner? Do I start from the beginning again the 5 year route? Or the 2.5 I already lived counts towards the ILR?

Re: End of Marriage during Spouse visa
If your relationship breaks down then you need to tell the Home Office and your existing Spouse visa will be curtailed meaning you will need to apply for another visa if eligible or leave the country. If you are in a new relationship then bear in mind it would still need to meet the relationship requirements to be eligible for a Spouse/Partner visa, i.e married or living together in a relationship akin to marriage for two years, both of which you are unlikely to be able to achieve before your visa is curtailed.

If not, you won't get the FLR(M)
Any change to your current situation means you start again with the immigration process.
